    What will Labour Nationalise?

Seeing as the idea of nationalising things seems to have gained greater influence over the past number of months, what would Labour nationalise if they get into government?

    - Private hospitals?
    - Offshore Gas?
    - The banks?
    - Gold mines?
    - Anything?

Or would we see further steps towards privatisation?

There will be no nationalization, any govt partner wouldn't tolerate it.

Eircom, if they have any sense. Or at the very least, the infrastructural side of the company.

I assume that was sarcasm, but you have no idea how right you are.

Yeah it is actually, The govt subsidises 80% of the cost of private healthcare and private hospitals and insurance companies get to pocket the rest as profit.

If no govt partner will support nationalisation of health care, then those partners obviously are not interested in improving the health service.

Ha - we should ask the question, "What will Labour RENATIONALISE?" instead!

ever hear of the NHS I certainly want that! Now that's sarcasm

At least Labour will never be the main party in government and we can all sleep soundly at night
If we were all born equal we would all be white, middle-class, middle-aged men!
