I doubt Gilmore was involved in the Official IRA.

As for North Korea, it was reported in the 1980s that Tomas McGiolla and some others visited there on at least one occasion, whether they got money is another matter.


Currently Sean Garland is fighting extradition to the US on charges that he engaged in counterfeiting US dollars with the North Koreans.
