You are right about Gilmore and the bunny.
When you at the 166 in the Dail can you honestly say there is anyone that has half a clue how to get Ireland out of the mess .There is not one of them worth a shyte, one shower ia as clueless as the other.
It doesn't matter who is in power next year ,the rot has set in not alone in Ireland but right across the socialist welfare states of the EU .This will be seen within the next year or so ,it's like a bad persisent virus that working the rounds.
Sovereign debt is rampant in most states and when they are finish with good old Ireland they will ramp it up on Portugal,Spain,Belgium,Italy, France.Thats why the printing press will have to be in good order.

I saw Rabitte a few weeks ago protecting ESB workers pay. They're the guys on average 70k a year and who got a payrise last year.

6bn is the minimum we need to cut. I think FG may have the guts to do what needs to be done. Unfortunately with Enda at the helm they will never get near a majority.
A champion of the people emerges with the age-old and appealing promise of "something for nothing" - to be financed through every-increasing taxes. Supply and demand are thrown out of gear - the overhead goes up; the effective use of human energy goes down; the standard of living is lowered because money cannot buy wealth that is not produced.

Mmmmm, it's interesting to see the attacks getting more and more vehement as the possibility of a Labour taoiseach gets more and more realistic. It's not hard to find €6billion. All he has to do is cut back just over half of the €11.4 billion in tax reliefs identified by the Commission on Taxation, and he's away in a hack.

We're doing our best, its not our fault.
    It was done to us.
We were powerless to prevent it.
    And so are you.
