If you believe the Sunday Business Post it will be
Dublin - Ruairi Quinn
South - Kathleen Lynch
East - Liz McManus
Could we be looking at three seats ?

Eh, de Rossa is running in Dublin...
Lets hope so - given his remarks in 2002 that only a few thousand immigrants would reach our shores each year as a result of the Nice Teaty I hope someone has the moral courage to hold him to account on that one.Originally Posted by krayZpaving

See here for the BS he has come out with:

BTW does anyone ever recall hearing St Patrick was an Irishman?

Nominating Senators would make more sense, if they win great, if not good for next GE profile....also avoids having by-election
East Dominic Hannigan
South Alan Kelly
Dublin Alex White

I don't think DeRossa will stand down and I don't think Quinn would get the nomination over him.
McManus may certainly run in the Leinster constituency and would be in with a great chance to win.
News to me about Lynch running, but it certainly is possible, However that seat isn't safe and we may not have anyone else able to keep it in the next GE. Ether way she is a good candidate and could possibly take Sinnott's seat

James Connolly,
well I do hope that the Sunday Business Post article is off the mark, as i was expecting more from the Labour Party around the Euro electios next year, i was hoping that they were not going to use it as a retirement home for politicans, it is now time to send people to Europe who want to represent us out there and not as a retirement home or to build up a profile for a future dail run
