considering that they are the minority party it is good to see them in there pursuing their own ideology, god help us all if it had been an fine gael majority..

Which of the tax hikes/charges and cuts conform to their pre-election promises, much less their political ideology?

No, not happy, or surprised. To be true to socialism they should never have got into bed with FG, since they did they are making the best of it but no its not good enough. Thing is there is nothing else nation wide that even approaches socialism.

I think the correct title for this thread should be:

LABOUR SUPPORTERS: HAVE YOU & YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS BEEN APPOINTED TO HIGHLY PAID PUBLIC POSITIONS BY THIS GOVERNMENT?

    If not, please phone 1-800-NEPOTISM.

After career politician Wabbittes new proposed stealth tax on all, especially those who do not watch the state propaganda RTE, I expect he has dug himself a new hole that he and the rest of the FF/Green continuity party will end up being buried in!

I would call on Labour supporters to follow the lead of Senator Ivana Bacik and oppose the abolition of the Seanad in favour of reform.

Good idea. There are still a couple of Costello's who haven't been appointed to highly-paid public positions yet.

If I had been a Labour supporter I'd have been deeply UN -happy.
Labour got 20% in the last election, and the most recent poll had them at 16%. So the public are maybe waiting to give them more of a nudging than a kicking.
