    Where does this leave Labour?

    As The New Greens?

The b!tch partner ready to back every morally bankrupt play of the new regime?

What is their purpose? FFs they don't even hug trees.

Come the revolution, like the greens before them, as collaborators they may be treated even more harshly than the enemy.

LP have decided to make the least well-off pay most for their failure to stand up to the greedy, rich vested interests:

Labour are no mudflaps, they are the whores of FG! FG have never been power without the backing of Lab. Lab whored away any part of their principle to gain power with the most rightwing- backward party in the state. I don't know why they just don't get married at this stage and join together.

Speaking of party aficionados, they managed to get one of those nicely ensconced in the park too! The irony being that no doubt a lot of posters in this thread who are now bleating on about how bad Labour are voted for said same party aficionado in our most recent election. Pretty much what we know now about Labour was known then too. So I think I'll take a lot of the regular bleating about Labour on here with the pinch of salt that it deserves to be.

There are no essential differences between Fine Gael and Labour so Labour are not mudflaps or mudguards but rather equal partners. The current cohesion between Fine Gael and Labour proves that there is no difference between the two. Fine Gael have Labour going after the unemployed (Burton), students (Quinn) and children (both Quinn and Burton) because Labour have been successful in recent years in convincing members of the public that they are some sort of social democratic party when they are merely a Liberal party for the middle class.
