    Labour Party Political Broadcast.

    Oh my god.

Did you hire the cast of Fair City for your Party Political Broadcast, absolutly aweful.

    Labour hacks be honest.

It really was awful. Pat Rabbitte does not come across well at all, it's almost like the warmness is forced.
    Hail to the king.

    Pompous Pat the Parliamentarian.

As I said in one of the other threads, it was awful, and one of the main things I got from it was Pat's persistent use of the word "I". His strong personality turns me off Labour in the same way John O'Shea turns me off Goal. It sounds all the time as if it's a one man operation, and that's how the broadcast sounded to me.

If the people of this country are as pi**ed off as pat is trying to make out in this awfully amateur piece of propaganda, surely he could have just interviewed a load of people on grafton street instead of a bunch of billy barry, fair city rejects.

    Jesus, that was depressing.

The fair city comment did make me laugh, my thoughts exactly.

Second worst to date, behind FG.

The FF one (being the "folks on the street" one, not the Bertie is great one), The Green one (with the kids) and the SF one ("Citizens have rights"-new slogan?) all come across well. The Alliance For Change needs to change its broadcast tactics, because this election- they were awful.

It was very Fair City esque.

    I thought it was alright.

The fact that they used actors and that Rabbitte is, in my opinion, completely unlikeable should be irrelevant as long as their target audience relates to the stories in the broadcast.

Although, that's not to say that people will relate to it.

    again, much laughter.

Is it online, I want to watch it again...and the Christian Solidarity Party's. It's ************************e the way you're given one based on the number of candidates, it means the Socialist Party, with an elected politician- can't have one...yet the God Squad get their 3 minutes of telly time.

Then again, every group of oddballs would be owed a few minutes, from 9/11 truth in cork to the ICP up here.
