Of Course I'm not talking about Inquests of Irish Citizens.....
British Government Minister. Harriet Harman said it was "not acceptable" that grieving relatives were being denied the chance to hear what happened".![]()
She critised the US Military for failing to send witnesses to inquests of British troops killed in Iraq. She was seeking a meeting with senior Washington officials to persuade them to meet families' wishes by providing servicemen to give evidence.![]()
"We have got an expectation that they should come, so that the bereaved relatives of the deceased servicemen can actually ask questions of what happened," she said in an interview for the GMTV Sunday programme.![]()
Oxfordshire assistant deputy coroner Andrew Walker hit out after the US Marines blamed for the death of ITN journalist Terry Lloyd would not be named or attend to give evidence.![]()
He declined to read out statements provided by them before delivering a verdict of "unlawful killing" and asking the Attorney General to call for them to be brought to justice.![]()
Is it not time for the British Government to provide proper evidence to Irish Inquests?
Maybe Irish Families don't have the same rights as British ones?
Just thinking about, Dublin/Monahan Bombings, Loughgall and Gibraltar etc
