Belfast widow Brenda Downes, had her Judicial Review upheld today into British Direct Ruler, Peter Hain's sinister appointment of Bertha Mc Dougal as Victims Commisioner.

Mrs. Mc Dougal's husband, an RUC member had been killed by during the recent conflict by the IRA. Whereas, Mrs. Downes's husband had been killed by the RUC during an Anti Internment Rally in 1984. :twisted:

Today's Judgement ruled that Peter Hain appointed Mrs. Mc Dougal after the D.U.P. lobbied for her. Therefore, she did not get the job on merit but through political posturering

Me thinks it's another case of British Government Ministers attempting to undermine equality laws.
