They may write an angry letter telling us how angry there are with us.

Am I right that the Blasphomy bill does not define a religion?

Whats to stop Atheists claiming to be a religion and declaring Christianity blasphous against Atheism?

I would love to know how much the members of the council of state were paid in fees and expenses to deliberate over this matter (with a rubber stamp)

    I doubt Bertie came cheap
Actual morality is doing what is right regardless of what you're told. Religious morality is doing what you're told, regardless of if it's right.

We will be shamed before the civilised world.
Should read "We will be further shamed before the civilised world."
"Authority that cannot be questioned is tyranny and I will not accept tyranny, any tyranny, even that of heaven."
    - Terry Pratchett

Atheism is actually a system of beliefs and as such counts as a religion in practice (although I dont think they'd like us calling it that). But more interesting still, in following one religion (say christianity) you're actually blaspheming against all of the others by implying that they're nonsense. So the entire population is currently guilty and owe the government some €25,00 apiece.

Non believers are in even more trouble.

I have said this before, but I really think I will emmigrate either this year or early next year.

This country's a complete joke, bubble-economics and now right wing nutty laws.

I really don't want to pay tax to fund this stuff, so I think I shall be paying it somewhere sensible instead!

I wholeheartedly disagree with both of these bills, and I didn't participate in the 'boom', benefit from, or ever agree with the property-bubble economics and saw this coming for quite a long time.

The electorate are clearly brain dead as they keep voting these idiots back in again and again, so I am out of here! I really don't want to spend my life paying off mountainous debts that some greedy corrupt fools ran up, and I am certainly not going to have my freedom of expression curtailed by some medieval legislation.

I take it you consider spelling to be a form of religious dogma.
