    Gay Sex Decriminalised in India.

Gosh almighty the Beeb article states that the law criminalising homosexual sex betwixt consenting adults was
a "148 year old colonial law which describes a same-sex relationship as an unnatural offence".

So good to see that fundamental rights to do what you please in the bedroom are being recognised, though what prompts
people to take an overt interest in other's privacy always intrigues (so bloody puerile):

l find it interesting that the reference to 'unnatural acts' was a colonial conceit and reckon its great that decriminalisation has occurred in the sphere of consent , i.e privacy- given how grotesquely people can impinge on privacy issues using mechanisms of shame or isolation through language and word.

I always thought the use of the adjective "unnatural" to describe homosexual sexual activity to be incredibly stupid. Obviously it's "natural" i.e. people want to do it ! The only way the word could possibly have any credible applicacy is to argue that humanity , in general , is not part of the natural world in the first place.

I'm glad for India - all consensual sex has merit , in my opinion.
