Judge rules against Lawlors on costs

Just on news.
Basically the tribunal didn't have to prove its points to the same level as a court of law.
His missus will have to wait to see if she gets anything until after the findings are released.
Its only a chat, we ain't the world council.
In 2000 the Women's Institute in Britain gave Tony Blair the slow hand clap to demonstrate their contempt.
It was dignified, restrained and effective.Doesn't Bertie deserve the same scorn. No shouting, no abuse, no agression just a relentless slow clap whenever he speaks in public would be enough to end that man's presidential fantasy.

...as a court of criminal law...

Even then, the main reason for the high burden of proof in criminal cases is because criminal courts can impose criminal sanctions.

Essentially she was arguing that for the Tribunal to make a negative finding against Liam Lawlor, a dead man, is as serious as passing a criminal sentence against a living person, and more serious than applying a civil sanction such as a fine or restriction.

All very ambitious.

Anyhow, just in case the Tribunal never gets around to it: Hazel, sorry for your loss (and how it was wrongly reported) but he WAS a crook.

The bould Owen has a case that has to be adjudicated on as well.
Anyone else before we get the findings?
