Needless to say the good doctor doesn't bother with context. The piece form Al Jazeera states The review said the early May air raids were carried out against Taliban targets in Farah but that, at least in one case, it was unclear whether civilians were in the vicinity.. In other words against the Taliban who hid amongst the civilian population. Another part of the report states the Taliban ran into a house on which a bomb was dropped killing civilians. The Taliban are using the civilian population as human shields and are indirectly responsible for the deaths caused. One can argue that the US military have been reckless and their procedures need to be looked but in sharp contrast to Islamic groups their aim is not to kill large amounts of civilians.
