An egomaniac who can't pass a microphone without pontificating, who refers to those who have the audacity to question him as Nazis, who has no problem leaking classified information when (in his opinion) it's for the common good and who retreats from his self-proclaimed high moral ground within 24 hours when the possible consequences are not in sync with his personal and political ambitions?

A perfect choice for the Supreme Court - in Iran, or Syria or China perhaps, definitely not in Ireland.

He's not practicing at the Bar at the moment, he's on a sabbatical as Minister for Justice, so he's not qualified for appointment to the Supreme Court under the Courts Act 1961.

And Hardiman and himself on the same bench would be a bad idea...

Oh if he's got his sight set on the SC - given the man we all know and (love/loath/ other*) He'll more than likely demand the post of Chief Justice - u think he'll settle for an Assocaite Justice post - unklikely
