hopi,
I'll give you the keys to my car if she gets leave to remain........the minister has signed her deportation order, there is no chance of me loosing my new car.
The court is assessing her case with regard to the relevent laws on the statute. I thought that one with knowledge of these things would understand that. The applicant has stated, as part of her case, that if deported, her family will be danger. Should the Minister direct that the family be deported to anywhere other than their own country, that would be a acknowledgement that the claim that danger exists is real and accepted and would render the Minister and our govewnrment open to the accusation that we lack moral courage of any kind.
you are off the wall hopi, you're arguements make no sense.

How so? It is a false assertion. Give a little thought to what you write before contributing infantile soundbites
So, without being trite, that means that any asylum seeker from basically any part of Africa, with children, who applies here could be never sent home? That is the essence of what you are saying? And without specific individual risk or any credible evidence thereof?
If she is deported it will be to Nigeria. Why would she be deoprted to another country?, that makes absolutely no sense. She has no basis to remain here and should be deported. She has damaged the reputation of genuine asylum seekers too.
The Nigerian government have given undertakings to guarantee her safety and that of her children. People with prejudiced views regarding Africa may prefer to overlook that, but it remains a fact
