I said it before, Hope is Pamela!!
I said it before, Hope is Pamela!!
That should have read "HOPI" lol
Perhaps we could try a hypothetical scenario.
Approximately 3 million girls a year are subjected to FGM. Imagine that each of those girls comes to Ireland to escape the procedure, accompanied by one relative (a conservative estimate) for a total of 6 million people. I'm not asking whether or not you think that it is probable that so many will turn up in Ireland, seeking refuge, but as the question was whether you think that each girl at risk from FGM should be allowed to stay rather than how many would be likely to come to Ireland, please imagine that they all do and answer the question below based on that hypothetical scenario.
Do you think that each of these 3 million girls, along with their accompanying relative, should be allowed to remain in Ireland?
Anyone seen todays Sunday Tribune?
Apparently the new lawyers for Pamela have come up with some new document - an 'attestation of death' certificate which they claim proves that Elizabeth existed. This will be produced by the new solicitors (unnamed) on Thursday and they will ask for an adjournment.
Interestingly the article is written by Crime Correspondent Ali Bracken.
I saw it on the front page but did not look in the paper. Sounds all kind of fishy for me for a child that she alleges she does not know where is buried and the Doctor who allegedly delivered it swearing an affidavit that there was no such delivery. We will get the article online circa 6pm.
I've opened a thread on a Nigerian forum to garner the Nigerian views on the matter:
A Nigerian-irish Dilemna - Nairaland
Good Idea!
Couldn't help noticing this one on that Site:

In case you are unable to find my post, I posted it in the Travel forum and also in the Racism... forum.
The Sunday Tribune's latest article on the case is now online:
