    OK.

    I will.

When you withdraw your foul slurs against the Ambassador of a friendly African country.

Or when you make similar slurs against the Ambassador of a white nation.

    Until then.

    You remain.

    A damn racist!

    It's not a rant, it's reality, Rosanna!

    What slur is that exactly?

Let me get this straight. You want me to select an ambassador from another nation, even though there are no other ambassadors who are relevant to this issue, and then insult purely and simply because they are white, i.e. on the grounds of their race? And you say I'm racist?!!!

I've seen some wingnuts on this site but this really takes the biscuit.

And stop trying to be logical, it is causing you problems.
Not so - if, as I believe you have said, *any* risk of fgm is unacceptable then my point is well made.

More logic and a lot less emoting would help here.

FGM is a very unpleasant mutilation visited on women in a variety of semi-failed states around the world.

The energy devoted to keeping Ms. I here by her supporters would be far better invested in campaigning against fgm in the countries where it is practised..

Not easy as you would have to challenge the "culture" that underpins the practice.

Much easier to emote on this forum about unacceptable risks..
Mr Gormley described calls for the resignation of his cabinet colleague as "absolute nonsense". He said Mr Lenihan was doing "a very good job under exceptionally difficult circumstances".

On a slight aside, FGM is a problem in Europe as well as Nigeria (see http://www.europarl.europa.eu/meetdo...6/743436en.pdf
How are we to protect african children resident in Ireland from their own parents ?
We surely cannot pass laws that would impose duties and responsibilities purely on an ethnic or religious basis. What impact would it have on our health system if we were to have compulsory checks on all children born to non Irish persons at intervals proper to preventing FGM. What laws could we pass to restrict travel from Ireland with the hope of preventing FGM and would these laws be deemed racist ?. As FGM would appear to be more prominent in Muslim countries, do we impose sanctions against these countries ?
Should we accept asylum requests from these countries knowing that we are actually importing FGM into Europe ?
PI must be deported, she has made a mockery of our liberal judicial system and has done untold damage to the chances of anyone genuinely needing asylum. The whole question of FGM is one that Islam and Africans must address and not Europe as that would be deemed as racist.

I wish for her to be deported because she is a lying bogus asylum seeker, just like the countless thousands of them we have already let in. Enough is enough I say. The endless fraud committed against this state by people of her ilk must not be allowed continue.

I'll admit hers was a top notch story though.

I don't think outfits such as the Immigrant Council of Ireland would be with you on that one.

After all, in the interests of maintaining diversity they want us to "respect the newcomer's culture and traditions"!
