I wonder. Do not doubt the pervasiveness of bleeding-heart liberalism in the ruling-classes in this country and beyond. The Leinster House liberals, imho, will bend the rules to let her stay. With regard to the ECHR, it should be considered as a preview of the kind of interference we can expect from the ECJ if and when the Charter of Fundamental Rights, with its asylum-related provisions and other articles open to interpretation as relating to asylum-cases, comes into force via the Lisbon Treaty. In particular I am referring to Article 18 but also other aspects such as the right to a family-life, which could be twisted by a court as allowing economic-factors to be taken into account in asylum-cases.
I've been reading these posts for some months now. I am fairly certain I have never seen an anti-homosexual post. Certainly those who post in favour of prudent immigration legislation have never referred to homosexuality as a matter of relevance.
Indeed I beleive that one of the most articulate critics of Mass Immigration here has at some time mentioned that he is a homosexual.
So would you care to substantiate your innuendo?
Or else admit you're a liar?
