The logic of you position seems to be that if it is unlikely I would act in a particular way, it is equally unlikely that others would. Experience has shown me that this is fallacious.
P.S. I am not into self-flagellation, but that does not lead me to conclude that others aren't.
I just received some rep from the poster 'actuallyyourwrong':
'Shut up fool, if the kids were white it would make no difference. I want this scammer out, my african wife wants her out too. You liberal yellow bellies defend no-one but your ignorance'
The intellect is breath-taking. Needless to say his rep is worth nothing but you gotta laugh.
A P.ie moderator stated this on June 25th 2010: P.ie tolerates very broad free speech, and thus allows sectarian bigotry etc
Actually it's central to the point, particularly for those claiming her asylum is based purely on a scam. If reports are true and she is from a wealthy family with substantial means, why on earth has she disenfranchised herself to this extent for so long?
What is her motivation? Why forgo all this luxury to be holed up in the west of Ireland cutting a meagre existence?
It seems to me she has sacrificed everything to ensure her children are out of harms way.
Also are you suggesting that Ireland should only entertain asylum claimants with some sort of link to this country?
Voters don't decide issues, they decide who will decide issues.

The only other logical explanation is that Pamela has been so psychologically damaged by the death of her daughter that she perceives a threat were it doesn't exist. That's a posibility although less likely given what we know of the country and her in-laws prior behaviour.
Can you suggest an alternative explanation for years of self imposed deprivation?
