Keep her here and get her to work for the state cleaning public toilets for two years to work off the cost of her expensive appeals.
I respectfully disagree. She lied, cheated, committed forgery, and wasted God knows how much money in her scam/ What is the difference if she is deported with her children or sent to jail for her crimes? The children would be in State care without her. Deport her....

Yeah, well that was all you needed. The Irish were so terrified of being called racist that literally the only criteria for getting in & attaching yourself to the gravy train was the ability to have children.

Talk about setting the fkn bar low.

Thank Christ McDowell put an end to that.

This moronic suggestion that the Irish people should welcome African kids with no connection to this country because their parents spent years trying to defraud the Irish people is beneath contempt.

Agree. Well done Mick. The second part of your post shows you haven't thought this through. It isn't beneath contempt. The handful of kids allowed to stay would be a drop in the ocean. Honestly I worry about the rage some people display towards asylum seekers. You'd swear the country was crawling with them.

Clan, I understand where you are coming from but you do realise that the State already granted amnesty to about 15,000 people who had IBC applications in but undecided at the time of the Supreme Court decision and subsequent referendum. Is it proposed that every time someone comes here, pulls a fast one, and gets caught that we, in order to protect the children from returning home, grant amnesty, "just this once".

We were sufficiently generous at the time the IBC issue came to a head, imo. You have to call a halt and make an example sometime.

By the way, this allegation has not been proved and, given my previous posts supporting due process, my posting at the moment is speculative. I hope that is understood.

The point is though that she is not a genuine asylum seeker and I would have my doubts as to how many geniune asylum seekers there are now happily resident in Ireland from this Nigeria. You only have to ask the question how could they afford to get here from Nigeria. A plane ticket to an EU country and then further travel costs to get to Ireland would be beyond the means of anyone in desperate need of asylum and beyond the means of anyone other than a well off Nigerian, such as Izebekhai.

She is a liar, and a scammer and should be deported. I don't fear for the safety of her children on her return. They were never in any danger in the first place as her story is pure fabrication. We have enough problems of our own and have let in plenty enough of these scammers already.

I have no doubt whatsoever that the overwhelming majority of Nigerians in this country have scammed their way in through IBC or other bogus claims.

Guarantee you, when I have kids, I won't want them competing for resources with Africans who have absolutely no right to be here.
