The fact that it later emerged that Gonzales was a child abuser is irrelevant.

It is relevant - the fact he was a child abuser shows he had a lack of empathy with other human beings - he was quite prepared to destroy the lives of children, shooting another person in a situation whereby he felt justified was inevitable.

I totally agree.

The abuse allegations [against Gonzalez] are NOT separate from the actions of Gonzalez - particularly if Gonzalez was abusing the child on the day of the slaughter of Andrew.
