    As mentioned above, the Supreme Court found in Corway v Independent Newspapers that though the offence certainly exists under Irish law, the court could not define exactly what form it would take.

    Presumably the Oireachtas shall get around to scrubbing this offence from the statute books in the next couple of decades.
