The real power here is McCabe , he and his media cheerleaders brought and end to the careers of Shatter, Fitzgerald and O'Sullivan for very questionable reasons.
Be honest. Bumbling idiots like Shatter, Fitzgerald and O'Sullican do not need other people to take their snouts from the trough.

Their own incompetence does that extremely effectively.

Part of the power is McCabe. the real power was in the Dail where a number on Independents held them and FG in general to account. Much the same as what’s happening over the cervical smear scandal.
And are you trying to tell us that Paul Williams cheerled for McCabe.

Where did I say Paul Williams was a cheerleader for McCabe? I only deal in facts, try it sometime!

"Former Garda commissioner Martin Callinan has alleged Supt Dave Taylor told him he was going to "bring down" Mr Callinan’s successor Nóirín O’Sullivan".

Callinan cannot back up this statement and is trying to say his word is better than Taylor's, why is he allowed do this, surely this statement should be inadmissible.

Is Frances still claiming no one told her that McCabes motivation was down to a sexual assault allegation

“He also said that Callinan told him in 2013 about the 2006 Ms D allegation of sexual abuse against Maurice McCabe.

Shatter said that Callinan told him “it had been fully investigated and the DPP directed there be no prosecution”.

Shatter added: “He then speculated that Sergeant McCabe was upset at the manner in which it was dealt with.””

After what Shatter said today, my only question is what does Callinan or AGS have on Shatter. Or what did Callinan do for Shatter.

I suppose that's all your left with. Remember the time when Harrison, McCabe and Taylor were going to give the explosive evidence, and the really awful thing is real reform (not revolution) won't happen because of the distraction caused by the above and their media backers, who have gone very quiet.
