The big talking point of the day should be the 14 mins phone call between the commissioner and the head of department of justice that happened on the day of the big row about evidence at the Higgins commission.

Neither party say they can remember the call thus never declared it to the tribunal but phone records show the phone call taking place from O'Sullivan private office line to the department heads private office.

It is just not credible that neither of them can remember a 14 minute phone call that just happened to happen on a day there was a big legal kerfuffle at the O'Higgins commission.

Yes your are right its totally incredible!

At least the filth is being publicly exposed now, the public vocal support for Garda McCabe and whsitleblowers by the ex Minister for Justice and Garda commissioners has been publicly exposed as a pack of lies.

A good relationship between the Dept of Justice and AGS in a normal society where there are checks and measures and enforced regulations might be good in a functioning Democracy but here in Ireland it is filthy, debased, a threat to Democracy and rotten to the core, resulting in political policing of the most squalid sort.

Its time AGS management were disbanded

“Prior to the commencement of the O’Higgins Commission hearings, at the conclusion of a meeting in the office of the Chief Administration Officer, Cyril Dunne, Mr Dunne asked me to remain in his office after the other attendees had left and with reference to Sergeant Maurice McCabe, said, “we are going after him in the commission”.

What is it with the self appointed Irish elite and their memory loss about certain very important events?

Former Sec Gen is now being shown phone records that indicate he spoke to Garda Comm for 14 mins during the recess in the O'Higgins Comm at 3.28pm when she was asked to reconfirm her instructions to her legal team. He says he has no recollection of this call. #DisclosuresTribunal

Not only was Frances Fitzgerald aware of the scurrilous allegations against #MauriceMcCabe but the Garda Commissioner was using private emails telling her how to answer questions on O'Higgins. This is some serious stuff going down. #GE18

Nóirín O'Sullivan resigned last year claiming she couldn't work on garda reform due an "unending cycle" of questions, reports and requests. Today we learn Nóirín O'Sullivan was spending her time writing speeches for the Minister for Justice in praise of Nóirín O'Sullivan.

The draft statement sent from the Fmr Garda Commissioners iPad to the then minister suggested that she tell the Dail: 'I wish to state, here and now, that I have full confidence in the Commissioner.' #DisclosuresTribunal

It's so mind boggling that I can't quite get my head around it much less comment on it. Not yet anyway.
