On August 2nd 2015, while visiting Molly in her home, Tom awoke suddenly and went to Molly's defense, and during events that followed, the husband died. The legal expenses have gutted the family financially. The next step is to file an appeal and fight the wrongful death suit. We desperately need your help."

I notice that reference to Collin Martens, brother of Mollie the Murderer I think, who was listed on the Martens crowdfunding begging page as Social Media Manager, has been removed now.

Some interesting stuff in the thread linked below, particularly about the book written by Keith Maginn, Molly Martens's ex fiancée, in 2013. Seems she had a history of psychiatric problems since childhood and had been hospitalised many times for same since the age of 17.

Strange that. Presumably he requested it.

Anyway the aunt has now taken to tweeting Obama about the terrible injustice. I wonder why they didn't tweet Trump as he loves Twitter.

American jails sound pretty horrendous. Sounds to me like animals are better treated, but then, Jason was slaughtered in a most brutal manner. Which looking at that recent photo of Molly looking so glamorous and happy you'd never think she was capable of. Looks totally deceiving us.

To the surprise of no one:

    https://m.independent.ie/irish-news/...-36372171.html

Molly Martens and her father have suffered a major legal blow as a US judge has refused to quash their convictions for the murder of Irish father-of-two Jason Corbett
But the Irish Independent has learned that Judge David Lee, who oversaw the five-week trial, has now refused to set aside the conviction.
Full details of Judge Lee's refusal of the defence application to quash the convictions are expected to be published next week.

In addition last week Thomas Martens was informed by his insurance company that they will not pay for his legal defence in the civil case.
