Even a near-majority of FF voters say he has more questions to answer..

Unfortunately, it doesn't show that they'd vote against him, or against FF. It's only been 6 months since the election, and I doubt people have changed their minds in droves since then. Amazing - and the man gets paid more than George Bush!

I found these stats very interesting, especially in response to all the "more FF than FF themselves" types:

Among Green voters 75 per cent believe it is a serious political issue and just 18 per cent believe it is not. PD supporters are more evenly divided but a majority, 51 per cent, believes it is a serious issue while 43 per cent believe it is not. Fine Gael and Labour supporters believe strongly that it is a serious issue with 75 per cent in both parties taking this view.
That's a significant divergence of thought between FF + Green voters, with the PDs backers somewhere in the middle.

Given that this was a poll of 1,000 people, the total number of PD supporters interviewed was between 15 and 24 - enough to comfortably fit downstairs on a bus. Are their opinions that significant?

Good point. Still, as a rough guide...

I'm amazed 17 per cent still believe his Tribunal dribblings, but if 70 per cent plus now see him for the liar he is, then better late than never.. The unseemly rush to the Aras makes more sense than ever..

No-one disputes this poll, but did they bother asking people "Could you care less?" or "Who would you prefer to have as Taoiseach, Ahern or Kenny?" It doesn't take a poll to figure out the answers.
