Are RAR going to be holding a protest? They generally seem to like scam artists, fraudsters and bogus asylums seekers....

Hmm. so what they are saying then is a non Irish national who IS an EU national but married to a non EU national (probably for several years) may be saying ta ta to their spouse?

sounds like a reasonable and fair policy and broadly in line with our EU neighbors, no doubt a few genuine cases will suffer which is unfortunate (anyone know if there's an appeals process?) but broadly a good and fair move.
Enda Kenny on FF government: “We’re in this mess, not because Fianna Fáil policies have failed, but because they have succeeded.”

I was thinking the same thing, Aindriu.

How do marriages of convenience work in Ireland ? Do people just hand over the cash and separate immediately after the registry office charade ala "Green Card" ?
The truth is incontrovertible, malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end; there it is.

Dunno some may be quite happy to do this and move the mistress in.
