The RCC oppose a lot of good measures...but they answer to their congregation...not to the EU.
Indeed and IMHO they are right on this one.Originally Posted by rkeane

I don't suppose anyone could give information regarding the process for people to come here to work from South America...
Who do I talk to for information; the Dept of Justice?
What kind of visas are their, what do they allow a person to do (eg work, study, travel to other EU countries), and how easy are they to obtain.
Also are there such things as fiance visas (I know they exist for the US) or is marriage the only one.
If so, how does an Irish person go about marrying someone such that they will be allowed to reside in Europe?
Many thanks if people here can give me some info.

Welll, if the person is Argentine of Irish extraction, they won't be let in--I know of several such cases.
Turns out the Irish Constitution is just as vacuous as I knew it would be when I voted to keep Articles 2 and 3.
