. What whitewash ?
. . The defence proved it was possible fr MollOy suffered a heart attack immediately prior to any physical altercation. They also proved it was possible the injuries to the head were caused by his fall to the ground consequent to that heart attac and his head hitting a sharp object like a stone hearth. Therefor the prosecution could never prove that any physical altercation was the actual cause of death. In such circumstances the trial judge has no option but to direct the jury as he did. The states case basically collapsed when confronted by that defence. You are blaming the judge for the states failure to adequately prosecute their case.
