If a new thread is more applicable for the following, maybe mod edit, I see this one has been laid low for a while.

The Ombudsman's report has been published. Interestingly, the public version differs to the version the family received. We [TheStory.ie] got a copy of the family version and published the details which weren't in the public version. Our publishing of them these details weren't picked up on this site or by any media outlets. I believe the new details to be significant. See link.

Apols for the self-promo and revival of the old thread, I'm somewhat surprised the details weren't picked up here and believe it to be in the public interest that they reach a wider audience.

FYI - I've never been a member of a political party, Mark J. Coughlan, the ex-PD, is another person.
