Yep being ineffectual bar collecting taxes from the little guys seems to be built into the system.
And you won't rise far in the system if you exhibit certain types of ability.
Its only a chat, we ain't the world council.
In 2000 the Women's Institute in Britain gave Tony Blair the slow hand clap to demonstrate their contempt.
It was dignified, restrained and effective.Doesn't Bertie deserve the same scorn. No shouting, no abuse, no agression just a relentless slow clap whenever he speaks in public would be enough to end that man's presidential fantasy.

Yes. However, it's still ludicrous to compare alleged crimes at Anglo with murder. It's not as if Anglo infected mothers and haemophiliacs with contaminated blood.

Furthermore, criminal investigation of Anglo should have been left entirely to the Gardaí because the ODCE does not have the power to make arrests. The ODCE investigation should have been put on hold until the Garda investigation and possible criminal trials had concluded. Usually, the ODCE takes proceedings only with a view to disqualifying directors who have broken company law.

I suspect there is not much between your view and that of McManus.
