somehow I fear things will only get worse . take a look at these proposals by young FG .

    young fine gael

1)Calls for transfers under Dublin II Regulations to over-burdened member states be
temporarily suspended on EU level to allow pressure to be lifted from asylum
    systems in certain member states.

2)When transfer is taking place, the presence of family member's in another EU member
State, whether legally resident or awaiting determination of an application for
refugee status, should be taken into account in order to preserve family unity

3)Suggests that once minimum standards of qualification have been reached, Member
States would jointly consider legislating for the right of free movement within the
European Union to be accrued to recognised refugees
say No to the EU , yes to Democracy , yes to the Nation State

This refers to the problems in Italy and Greece. THey get the brunt of entrants. Thousand actually apply their but flee to other parts of Europe for asylum. THe Regulations then come into play and should transfer them back to Italy and Greece, which, humanly is not possible. (Check out the problems yourself) The European COurts ruled on this already

What are you worried about? If they fail, then they go home. If they succeed, then the refugee will be able to bring that family here anyway. THis solution is not an ice breaker, it is humane. Please bear in mind, Iraqi and Afghan families are hardly not genuine of protection, why should they be split up?

its what thousands of other native irish people are worried about right now and its not being discussed in our media. How many aslyum seekers are their in Ireland ? Multiply this by the number of potential relatives they have ? Now look at the state of the countrys finances now , how the hell our we going to support rent allowances , accomodation and social payments to all these people.

While somalia are a strange bunch, hey, "civilization" as we know, has likely, through no fault of their own, never existed in a somalians lifetime. So it is a bit unfair to have a dig at them
north east, north west you get my drift its a huge continent and as far at having a dig at the somalians every one of them i met in the in the asylum centers were absolutely anti western anti everything about us and would give credence to any islamaphobe out there. Any liberal bone in my body went out the window when i had to deal with them.

    No.

Nigeria is considered as Western Africa. Not North Western Africa. There is a huge difference. It would not even in North Western if you looked on a map- different groups of people, climate, attitudes, shade of skin colour., . I take it map reading is not your specialty.

Same issue with Somalia, Somalia is certain not in North East of Africa (Egypt), not within an arses roar

If the West had being responsible or, just as important, seen to be responsible for bombing your country with drones and normal military equipment for the last 30 years, your views of the West would also be different.
