What argument? What US wealth of evidence? Post some of this evidence.

I'm not an apologist for anybody. I'm merely concerned that we don't violate people's fundamental rights and ditch the rule of law in a headlong rush led by prejudice.

I'll leave you to mull over the words of Benjamin Franklin (maybe you think he was a cheerleader and apologist for headbangers).

No rights have been violated. What the hell are you talking about?

Concern about Islamic extremism in Ireland is now violating the fundamental rights of any Muslim arrested in Ireland in connection with such activity?

And you're the one urging people to post evidence before any charges are laid or case comes to court - which would violate the right to a fair trial.

Are you Future Taioseach's twin? Your idiotic posts certainly share the FT DNA?

Dammit...that's the last time I get taken in by yet another troll on this site!

For a second there I thought you were just confused...but your coming out with purple prose quotes from the 18th century to act as some sort of modern day aphorism to protect us from the wrongs of arresting socio-paths who threaten our very way of life is...well...pitiful

Grow up? You mean accept illegal kidnapping, torture and detention as acceptable?

    Benjamin Franklin again.

It's obviously relevant if the people arrested in Ireland have been arrested partly because of information supplied by US agencies.

Any chance you'll post the evidence that the people arrested are sociopaths who threaten our very way of life?

Or would you prefer to just sentence them now?

The right to presumption of innocence. Ring a bell?

I'm asking people who claim that those arrested are sociopaths or terrorists to provide evidence for their claims.

If this evidence is available then post it. Either put up or shut up.
