Ernst & Young Executive Sentenced to Prison

Interesting to see how things work in other countries. In paddyland we have Bev Cooper Flynn in the Dail, in the states they send people to jail for similar offences.

More ridiculous rants from you. If you have evidence of laws being broken bring it to the DPP.

The former executives of Ernst & Young, one of the so- called Big Four accounting firms, sold illegal shelters to wealthy clients based on fraudulent factual scenarios, jurors found.

That helped the clients reduce or eliminate tax liabilities on incomes of more than $10 million. The scheme generated billions of dollars in paper losses used to offset taxes owed, prosecutors said. The government lost $2 billion in taxes in a scheme that involved about 40 people, the judge said.

Dont know why you are not on my ignore list. Anyway, do you remember when Anglo registered a loan as a customer deposit? That was illegal.

I know for a fact that the order to make the transfer came from a cabinet minister.

    +1

In addition to that, the present Govt FF/GP administration is very very reluctant to bring or nor strengthen the whistleblower law, Fraud/reckless trading/irresponsbility without any care or much stronger & stringent penalties or in particular to fraud crimes, to be given more in jail time -mandatory sentences say minimum ten years.

No wonder Ireland INC is a laughing stock or a ' Cowboy' country.

It would be far more difficult to figure out which one would not make such an order, this is
    ff after all.

The lovely Beverley is waiting for her moment, that is when she gets the nod for Sweary Mary's gig up at the Steward's House, the cocktail hour and the "get up them stairs" look from Biffo, Bev is a true FF'er heifer
who epitomises the "never complain, never explain" gospel of the faithful.

Just as an aside is her fella heading for Nama ?

If all this is "fact" then why have you not gone to the guards with this information?
