Extraordinary that this hasn't come out before now. No wonder FF didn't bother nominating a candidate;they already had one. Why is he getting such an easy ride though? His FFness has been common knowledge even if his dates were out!

Despite Gallagher's portraying of himself as a non-politician 'listening' to the people, it's very clear the man is very much a politician. His calculated and disingenious attempts to distance himself from FF has surprisingly fooled a lot of people.

Whatever about his fianna fail links, I notice from the letter reproduced that Gallagher was advising BANKS!!!! What is the story here??????

@punter - yes indeed, the banks? the content of that infamous letter has now tied this chancer up in knots. The Dunphy show tomorrow morning on Newstalk 106 will be lively to say the least
