I wonder if it will throw any light on the Larry White murder in Cork during the 70's ?

"The thing that always annoyed me about traditional Irish historiography was the paradox of its Anglocentrism. People are now prepared, I think, to confront the possibility that many Irish problems are, in a sense, indigenous to the Irish situation." Roy Foster (1989).
Not too sure I understand the question, but a good few years ago I met someone related to White who said that the whole truth about this killing never came out. I don't know too much about it, except that I think it involved members of OIRA ( think White was one ) having a fall out over bank raid proceeds. I know there was a trial of some sorts but don't know if anyone was found guilty or what the sentence was. Those older than me or more in the know might fill in the details.
Larry White was not in the OIRA. He was a member of Saor Eire Those who were convicted of his murder were Stickies but they had their convictions overturned on appeal. One of them, Bernard Lynch, is married to Kathleen Lynch TD and is the brother of Kierian Lynch TD.
I wonder what it says about the murder of Seamus Costello. Should be interesting reading.
