    A goodly number of the people who went there had actually been in mental hospitals. You were encouraged to go home and have it out with your parents as part of your cure. There was no drinking or drugs there, though. I think you could learn quite a bit about yourself by staying a few weeks like I did.

    Thought i'd bring up this thread for International Women's Day.

    I know the thread was supposed to be serious but it makes me smile.

    That was a different group in the same house, I believe. And they did a bit more than just dressing like victorians, but anyway.

    Coincidentally Bob Quinn made a documentary about the Screamers I think in the late 70s. After it was finished RTE would not show it until sometime in the 90s.
