Please dont tell me you are on e of those people who are like ah shur just give us the north. The unionist would not have let go of it in 1921 nor will they now. As for SF. SF in 1918 - virtually all its members who went to CnaG and FF = not the same party.
As you say above, virtually all, this is not the same as all, it is still the same party, as it had continuity of membership. As you well know, Michael Collins supported the IRA in the North after partition, and send arms northwards. He was a supporter of a fully independent Ireland. We'll get the north back and it will have nothing to do with votes or referendums, if you look at the state of Britain's economy, they will cut the loss earning 6 counties, and that will be that.

It will be interesting to hear the noises out of Fine Gael then.

and sovereignty as a nation . The irish people arent allowed assert their sovereignty as a nation . Thered be no need for a unionist veto if the majority of the Irish people took the view Ireland was a nation of 26 counties

they did take that view when they voted for the GFA, which lays down the irish republic at twenty six counties...and that was a plebicite on both sides of the border

Oh come on, you can't seriously believe that. No one can be that naive.
