Indeed, he was an excellent judge. His obituary in the London Times, no less, described him as probably the most brilliant Irish lawyer since independence. Apparently he wanted to be made Chief Justice, but Lynch was worried about his activist tendencies so he was passed over, much to his disappointment

    We have moved on.

I read in the last few days an observation by a wise old priest that no one had confessed to him for about 20 years that they were using contraception.
There are times when you are simply required to be impolite. There are times when condescension is called for!

Afraid not, it was from 1998. I read it recently in "Great Irish Lives", which is a compilation of Times obits on Irish figures, going back to O'Connell. Well worth a read

Ever see the 'Curb your enthusiasm' episode where Larry has sex with the wife using a special condom that uses a numbing agent which numbs his bits, thus not making him feel anything which therefore makes him last longer in the sack? Well he puts it on backwards and his wife does'nt have any feeling in her M***E for 2 days! Funny out! Larry David is a funny guy which just about gets Israel off the hook for the whole 'Lets blow up Gaza' thing.....

I disagree. It's seen more as a liberation of women.

It is a fact that the native population of Western Europe has gone into a demographic meltdown so from an evolutionary point of view contraception is a cul-de-sac.

The future will be Islamic and a dark age will fall upon Europe. Having said that the last 20 years have been the best time in Irish history to be young and male. So there is for and against.
