Try these here for Ireland's History.
As you can see the early ones in your set differ markedly from what we know from our own records.
Also bear in mind that in lattter centuries there was also Kings here who were acknowleged as 'High Kings' over Ireland.

Not to be confused with 'An' Atlas of Irish History by RDE which probably has Ireland as part of West Mercia throughout.
I actually have a cool pc game that has loads of old European provinces, you can even play as one of the 5 provinces of Ireland, although doing so is next to impossible. Infact I'm rubbish at the game so they are all nearly impossible for me.

For any major history buffs it is pretty excellent, not as easy going or out right fun as the total war games, but it's way more detailed.

To be fair, the political map of pre-Norman Ireland is very complex. The "borders" of political units weren't really geographic, and kingdoms in the geographic sense more or less non-existent past the lowest level.
The serious reader is recommended the Gill History of Ireland, which, while a little old, is at least free from any romantic notions.
