She's quite an authority ( oddly enough ) about russian history, she made a good doc about it not so long ago.
An interesting fact to come out of it was that Stalin nearly got beaten to death by a group of Irish dockers, because he made a lewd comment about one of their girlfriends ( whilst on a visit to London ) in pre-revolution days but a bystander stepped in and saved him...talk about the 'road to hell is paved with good intentions'!
