    Christine Keeler has died

Perhaps the first major "celebrity" scandal of the modern era, not least in terms of the passing of the political old guard, and Cold War implications. Sadly, she was never able to escape the sudden notoriety that arose from the Profumo affair, with every subsequent interview wanting to rake over the coals, and reproduce that famous "chair" photo.

RIP, She certainly outlived most if not all the protagonists in that affair. Seems like another planet now.

She will always be remembered as the woman who put the quotes around "model".

Wasn't the 'dentist' Stephen destined for prison before he topped himself?
