    Maybe you could try it out on the Rohingyas. FFS. Why is it ok to be so blasť about sectarian murders in Northern Ireland?
    Why is it ok to make a ridiculous comparison as you've just done? McTell was perfectly right to high-light a completely ludicrous allegation by one of the sites republican nutters.

    75% of those killed by the british side were catholics! The security forces had a disgusting rate of 83% catholics amongst their victims. And still there's people who claim they were the peace keepers acting neutrally. ************************ off.

    [QUOTE=McTell;11531399]

    "As a card-carrying mexican former papist and EU-remainer, it was all our fault."

    A lot of it was the fault of your ancestors. A lot of it was the fault of your generation of Eirefolk.

    "If the revolution of 1919-22 had been about good management of the island, and not about religions and some sort of revanche for 700 years, the northern prods would have been much less paranoid and tyrannous."

    Can you prove that? The Prods were oppressing Catholics long before 1919. You Staters will go to any lengths to whitewash the Prods.

    P.S. Your post has no relevance to the post of mine which you have quoted. Why do Eirefolk who have shown no concern about Prod tyranny in Northern Ireland become so very interested in Northern Ireland when the Catholic victims retaliate?

    It was the cenotaph hugger between the bridges who came up with the round number of 400 allegedly killed by the IRA during the troubles, a makey uppy stat by the Paisleyite. But your right, probably most of those Catholics killed by the Provos were in the RUC/Brits or were informers or rivals in the Sticky's etc All inevitably victims of British occupation and the situations it produces.

    And that 400 includes IRA men who blew themselves up in accidents, feuds with the Stickies and INLA, and as someone said Catholic members of the RUC/BA/UDR. But apparently the others are far far far more important that the 1500 killed by the British axis.

    Just more snivelling drivel from the spineless gombeen FFGL southerners like McTell or cricket - and traitor mercenaries like Harper. It's guilt and shame, nothing more or less. Not that any of those fnckwits would ever admit it.

    Ignore that fnckwit McTell, he doesn't have a bloody clue about the North and is just regurgitating 1970s-era Cruise/Harris deranged propaganda.

    The RUC used to beat us up on the way to school and dump our schoolbags into the nearest convenient puddle. We were 11. That's the nature of the Orange State these southern snivelling utter fncktards like to praise and defend. Scum defending scum, it's that simple.
