there are some parallels between brian boru and the present day brians. Boroimhe was a name given to him meaning Brian of the tributes. he basically taxed the bejesus out of his subjects. maybe lenihan and cowen could be renamed in the same fashion. The Battle of Tara was won in 980 AD by King Mael where he defeated King Olaf of Dublin and he was forced into Exile.
