Thats pathetic analyser. You should withdraw that

I understand that I have broken the rules of the forum, my original post was edited by a moderator to include a comment that the History section exists for debate. The same moderator ignored The Analyser's post, is this what constitutes debate?

The History Forum is intended for historical debates, this thread should in fact be deleted because it dosen't fall into that category.

I enjoyed the funeral oration immensely. Funny, without being vulgar. I particularly admired the observation about how this obviously very disturbed, lonely and confused young man having, in the midst of what was clearly a severe mental breakdown, thrown in his lot with this bunch of deluded tossers, helped:

"to make the movement what it is today"

Honestly, you'd need a heart of stone not to laugh.

When the "Heroic" hunger strikers were starving themselves to death and the prison authorities tried to force feed some of them, there were protests from their supporters then when yet another deluded man from the same republican gene pool starves himself to death, supporters criticise the prison authorities for not interfering and force feeding him.

A sad story. I knew nothing about him until I read the above piece. May God look after him.

I see Padraig has once more drawn the sword of order and respectability.
