No link sorry, but just heard on Matt C that a woman has died from H1N1 in Tallaght, where she was being treated for the virus.

Just over 30-odd people have died in Britain as a result of swine-flu since it arrived. The average flu in Britain kills 4000 people a year. Unless it mutates, it's no biggie.

I am sorry the lady died, but I have this "alarm" in my head that says the pharma companies are falling over themselves to manufacture a vaccine, one that our State will pay millions for, and where are those pharma companies situated? Go on, have a guess.

Meanwhile our Minister for Health has sparked a dispute that has shut down a large proportion of our drug dispensing system.

    Timing is everything.

we could not administer the injections to the whole population twice even if we had it, its not going to happen, its opium for the masses to stop panic. This could well mutate in a dangerous direction

X-ray, IF we had a vaccine on time, does it have to be administered twice to have effect? Just wondered.

Unfortunately the biggest danger to public health will be one of the first to get the vaccine.
