i'm not saying all vaccines are harmful - but they are not the magical treatments people believe them to be - it seems a lot of times people put their critical thinking skills on hold when it comes to vaccines

SPIEGEL: Mr. Jefferson, the world is living in fear of swine flu. And some predict that, by next winter, one-third of the world’s population might be infected. Are you personally worried? Are you and your family taking any precautions?
Tom Jefferson: I wash my hands very often — and it’s not all because of swine flu. That’s probably the most effective precaution there is against all respiratory viruses, and the majority of gastrointestinal viruses and germs as well.

Some background for those interested in flu. For those who have little previous knowledge the notion of a flu strain containing human, porcine and avian components is interesting but this does not in any way prove that the current H1N1 is manmade.
On another matter the proposed autism mercury link has been discredited namely because that since mercury has been removed from vaccines the same incidence has been reported. This should no longer be repeated as it is a real insult to families struggling with this condition. Then again it is cannon fodder for the conspiracy theorists.
A final point-presumably the homeopathy/reflexology industry have come up with something on the swine flu by now?
