So considering this new vaccine is being rushed out with minimal / no testing, are we really heeding the errors of the past? 16,000 children (who dont really have much to say about their own lives or what happens to them) are being used a ginuea pigs in the US. They will be the first to be vaccinated.

There is a vaccine for "normal " seasonal flu. Every year different strains of flu emerge. Places like the center for disease control collect these strains and develop an "all in one" vaccine against them. You can get a flu vaccine from your local GP in about sep/oct. The problem with Swine flu is that it developed at an unusual time of year and caught the health authorities on the hop so to speak, hence the rush to make enough of the vaccine before winter. When the schools are back it will spread like wildfire

out of how many administrations? Was the vaccine interacting with drugs already administered to the patient or was the patient not taking anything? There are always a certain amount of adverse reactions to medicines when they are administered. Some minor side effects, some major. Also if a person has a pre-existing condition, the condition and the medicine they are taking for that condition can interact with a new medicine. It is the responsibility of doctors to report all reactions so the medical community can build up a picture of these interactions. If a severe adverse reaction or interaction becomes statistically significant, advice is sent out to doctors not to administer it to that type of patient or change/stop one of the medicines so that the patient can take the more important one.
Oh, sorry shmuck, I thought you were implying that the outbreak of crypto in Galway last year was arranged by someone as a money making scheme, as you were suggesting in the same post that the Swine Flu outbreak was arranged to make money for pharmaceutical companies. My bad!

A federal report has concluded that the human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine Gardasil has a 400 percent higher rate of adverse effects than another comparable vaccine, the Menactra anti-meningitis shot.
"It is unusual for there to be such a big discrepancy between two vaccines used in similar populations involving serious and relatively rare life threatening adverse events and autoimmune disorders," the researchers from the federal Vaccine Events Reporting System wrote.
