    Rogue Pregnancy Counselling Services.

Ireland is full of surprises when it comes to medical regulatory matters, is it not?

It is about time that Ms Harney commented on this issue, given that the appalling services amongst named rogue
agencies have been highlighted for over a year now.

    1. They are not IACP registered.

2.They use manipulation against vulnerable women and girls in order to prevent them travelling to the UK /Netherlands
    for abortion services.

Of course the PD's had never really been a regulatory party, thus the situation regarding giving neutral advice about
abortion services is really a matter for whomever decides to set up a shopfront 'agency'. The issue of post-abortion
continuity of care can also be problematic , given the breakoff in treatment that occurs when a woman must travel
from her support system/GP or gynae-

Interestingly, it occurs to people that rather than be appalled at the unprofessional and bloody dangerous
behaviour of unregulated rogue counselling agencies, Ms Harney could look at the issue of Regulation.
Though I reckon a different Minister for Health would have a more intelligent approach to the issue of regulation
given that this issue has been highlighted over and over again for the past year.

Feck off dot with your neuve feminist ideology and your "rogue" counselling services.

Agencies with a pro-life ethos are the only agencies that should be permitted AFAIC. "Choice" and "positive options" are synonyms for abortion.

All agencies should be very clear about the ethos they espose, whether they are pro or anti choice.

Any agency that isnt up front and clear as to their position on abortion is, in essence 'rogue'.

So why the need to use the phrase

Yet more so-called "choice" of abortion campaigning while whinging about those who provide similar services but do not subscribe to the abortion agenda. Yawn!

those services that provide information and counselling (both pre and post abortion) are subject to legal guidelines, interestingly the WRC on Dorset Street is not; but appears to be an 'entreprenurial' outfit. Choice Ireland | A web site of pro-choice activists in Ireland . l would not let a pregnant teen near the place. Rule 1. Ask about accreditation.

I don't see any "whinging" about CPA-regulated agencies such as Cura and Life. They are open and upfront about their agenda and nobody has a problem with that.

Do you think it's right that anyone can open up a "crisis pregnancy counselling" service and operate entirely without any regulation or oversight? Simple yes or no will do.

They try and convince them not to go. I don't see what is wrong with that.
