    Trolley numbers

The numbers on trolleys last friday was:
    92 - HSE
    160 - INO

    Who is right?

Do they not both have vested interest in minimalising & maximising the figures?

The HSE has a different interpretation of what a trolley actually is. (I think)

Anyway, I would tend to agree with the INO. The HSE doesn't have a great record in telling the 'real truth'.

I wouldnt be too quick to believe Liam Dornan and the INO either.

What criteria do both use to come up with their figures?

I would have a tendency to side with the INO, but not blindly, I'd like to see a bit more meat on this.

One figure is taken in the morning, the other in the afternoon, as far as I'm aware.

    Anyone know:

    Which organisation uses which figures?

What the timing of the figures means? (Is it that there is a larger number in the morning, which reduces during the day or vice versa?)

Is their any independent verification of these figures?

If you simply Googled this information you'd get it, and I belive this has been discussed on P.ie in the past as well.

The HSE 'trolley' figures are taken at 2pm each day, while the INO figures are taken in the morning.
